I want to let participants know this is the new pen for hatching set ups!
They are more compact and not sure why I didn’t think of them before I order those useless cages some of you had to deal with last year 😂 these also fold up and are a great space saver for myself in my suv!

I’m making this post to announce that hatching will be taking a year off next year.
If you wish to take part in one this year before the break I am offering a Sept hatch!
11 spots 2 being ducks please be advised ducks need a little more work then chicks as they need to be turned 3x a day by hand

Hatching experience in the summertime is slow as most are on holidays etc
So I am just making an announcement to let everyone know that hasn’t had a chance to book in during the spring, that I do it in September as well! However it is the last month that I would do set ups before fall/winter.

I have been sick and haven’t really left my bed for the last 3 days. I haven’t had a clear enough head to call around to set up times for next Friday and I apologize I will touch base once I’m cleared up which I’m hoping will be in the next few days.

Ok ok so I messed up dates and didn’t realize I had hatch days for Saturdays when daycare and schools don’t have kids!
Here are the new set up, lockdown and hatch days.
Pick up day has also moved!

Sorry there will be no Easter hatch has the eggs have been too cold and hatches were not great 🥹
There’s also one major change happening this year and it’s because I was too excited and jumped the gun without thinking about it and my new heat lamps I purchased.
Chicks will only be able to stay with those for a week due to the size of the cages I ordered 🤦🏼♀️I’ve had most return them after a week in the past due to how fast they grow and how quickly the wild child comes out in them 😂
