As we prepare for today's AgBio convocation, I wanted to take a moment to give a shoutout to all our students in the KA program who worked tirelessly in their studies. We here in AgBio understand the sacrifice that students make to be here in person when home and work doesn't stop either. One of the things that fills my cup is seeing that confidence shine through by the time our program is done. I continue to look forward to connecting with you all at conferences and gatherings. I appreciate every ounce of hard work you all put in, and wish everyone the best in the future.

It's that time of year ladies and gents. Applications for the 2026-27 cohort in the Kanawayihetaytan ASKIY certificate program are now open. Although the majority of our students are lands managers from a First Nation, this course is open to all as it now effectively ladders into future diploma programs in the areas of Indigenous Resource Management and Indigenous Lands Governance. Students can also continue on to the degree in Bachelor of Science- Renewable Resource Management, Please feel free to share and reach out with any questions.
