Hello foodies,
Many of you have noticed that gift cards haven’t been available on our website for the past few months. We are ready to share that this is due to uncertainties in the current state of our operations. About a year ago we made the decision to move our cooking classes to our neighbor Drift Vista Lounge in order to buddy up on space to continue offering events and potentially continue to weather the ups and downs of the previous two years. Although it’s never easy to physically uproot a business, we had settled in and hosted a lot of great events and classes in the beautiful Drift Vista space. As you may have heard, earlier this week announced their closure after many years of serving good food and chill vibes. We understand this decision and wish the team all the best in future endeavours.
Unfortunately, this means January will be our last month of hosting public classes and private events.
For those of you with gift cards balances that pre-date we will continue to honour those for our catalogue of On-Demand virtual classes as well as towards TLK at Home private bookings. You can find links to more information on both these things in our bio.
We will be taking the next several months to reflect on the future of our business so if you’d like to stay in the loop of any other updates such as potential kids camps or pop up offerings please stay connected via social media or sign up for our mailing list.
We can never thank you all enough for your support and enthusiasm over the past years.

"My husband and I attended the gnocchi-making class by chef Lindsay and host Sidney this evening. We had a lot of fun, learned a new skill, and ate a delicious meal. We also took home enough leftover gnocchi for the freezer for multiple meals(for two). The food was fantastic. The browned butter cream sauce may be my new favorite food. Ha! Chef Lindsay was funny, knowledgeable, kind and overall just a fantastic teacher. Sidney was kind, friendly and helpful. She made everyone feel right at home. I have celiac disease and the girls accommodated me so that I would be able to make the gnocchi gluten free-which I am sure was a huge pain for them…but you would never have known. They were so accommodating and lovely. 10/10 would return for another class."

We had so much fun with the Nutrien team this past week making a squash soup, mustard pork loin with beet risotto and chocolate mousse 🤤

We have a couple new chefs joining the fold at TLK! And just look at the gorgeous work our first on deck is bringing with him! Dayton Buziak has years of local experience and it's quite possible you've eaten one of his dishes at Drift, Pitchfork Market or at a private dinner with his business and life partner at Falling Star Pantry. We couldn't be more excited for you to meet Dayton this upcoming holiday season and to learn some exciting new techniques and cuisine.
