Imaginary friends or spirits? My kids saw ghosts. The tall dark man and the dancing girl …’I saw him again mom’.
What do you do with that?
You listen, and don’t dismiss it. Children see so much more than we as adults do and that’s a gift, not a curse. Let them share what they see, feel, hear and sense. Let them trust you and themselves as they learn to navigate what this means to them and you.
It’s a gift that should be encouraged not subdued. Meditate with them and discover what they know and be ready to learn. ❤️🔥❤️

Common traits to watch for if you think your child is gifted include:
1. Over-sensitivity to an environment.
Imaginative, creative, or “right brain” thinking.
2. They have a “vibe” to people and situations, even total strangers.
3. They feel greatly affected by crowds or noisy places.
4. Your child may say recognize a place, even though they have not ever been there.
5. They have imaginary friends or hear voices.
6. They possess deep knowledge of ancestors, though you are unsure how.
7. Your child or teen says they see ghosts.
8. Your child experiences noises, flashes of light, or other unexplainable occurrences.
9. Your child is deeply attached emotionally to animals or they have a “way” with them.
10. They often feel the urge to put their hands on things to help or heal them.
11. Auras and energy are often seen.
12. Dreams are especially vivid.
13. They understand the spiritual teachings of Jesus, Buddha, and other deities, and you don’t know where they got their knowledge from.

Kids are intuitive beings. Often they are misdiagnosed because of their different abilities with intuitive sensitivities. As parents, we can empower them by embracing these gifts. Here is a place to connect and help one another understand what might be happening with our children.
