Kristian, Saskatoon Blazers alum and current Cowichan Valley Capitals player is out at our Blazers Camp helping the next generation get comfortable on the ice, build their skills, and most importantly have some fun!

It’s awesome having former Blazers players helping out and sharing their experience with the younger athletes. A great way to spend the summer and grow the game! 💪🏒

Having a few Trach alumni on the ice to help guide and mentor the younger athletes made for an awesome learning environment. Everyone had the chance to learn from each other, build new skills, and grow their confidence on the ice.

🏒🔥 That’s a wrap on Year 2 of our 4 on 4 Pro Summer League!

This year brought high-level competition, a fast pace, and plenty of game like pressure. With a mix of college athletes, pros, and longtime Trach clients, the league gave players a chance to stay sharp, make quicker decisions, and compete in situations that translate directly to the game.

And we’ve got new champions! 🏆 A new team gets to take home the trophy after an incredible season.

A huge thank you to everyone who competed and made Year 2 such a success. We’re already looking forward to bringing it back next summer! 🏒🔥

Today we’re working on quick starts, while the group is also getting reps in with passing and shooting. Building those fundamentals early helps create confident, well rounded players on the ice.

Huge congratulations to Stryker Zablocki on being named to Canada’s National Women’s Development Team! 🇨🇦

We’re so proud to see Stryker representing Team Canada in a 3-game series against the United States from August 12–15.

From representing Saskatchewan twice with the Team Saskatchewan Female U18 Program to now wearing the Maple Leaf — what an incredible journey. 👏

Looking to take your game to the next level? Now is a great time to get some focused work in.

We still have private 1-on-1 session availability for the rest of August and throughout September.

Private sessions are a great opportunity to focus specifically on your game, your skills and the areas you want to improve — whether that’s skating, edge work, speed, agility, stride mechanics or overall confidence on the ice.

We absolutely love working with Kayden Stroeder and watching him continue to take his game to the next level! 🏒🔥

From being selected 5th overall by the Edmonton Oil Kings in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft, to putting together an impressive first full WHL season with 32 points in 55 games, Kayden continues to show just how much hard work, dedication and skill can take you. 👏

And now… Team Canada! 🇨🇦

Kayden was recently named to Canada’s National Men’s Summer U18 Team training camp roster ahead of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, putting him among the top young hockey players in the country. 🇨🇦🏒

We’re incredibly proud to be a small part of Kayden’s development and love seeing him put the work in every time he hits the ice.

Congrats to Kayden and Team Canada on winning gold. Kayden showed a great combination of tenacity and creativity all over the ice and finished the tournament with an incredible 4 goals and 5 assists in only 5 games played.

🏒🔥 Our 18-19 WHL group is back on the ice and putting in the work.

Today’s session focused on skating and skill development as these athletes continue preparing for the next step in their junior and pro careers. What stands out most about this group is their commitment they show up every day read y to learn, compete, and improve.

We're excited to work with them all summer long and can't wait to see all the hard work pay off when the season begins.

Back in the lab with longtime Trach athlete Nolan Allan 🏒💪

No matter what level you play at, the mindset never changes get to work. It was straight into the drills, focusing on the details and finding ways to get even better.

Nolan’s work ethic and tenacity have always stood out, and it’s been awesome watching his journey over the years. We’re excited to see these reps translate onto the ice this season.

At the end of the day, drills are drills, and practice makes perfect. Keep showing up, keep working, and the results will follow.
