Thanks to the addition of a cast iron crock-pot and a rocket stove , the poached apple recipe went very smoothly!!

Just a simple little thing my family used to do over the fire - brown sugar, crab apples, fresh water and a spoon 💕

Some of the kids even took plateful's home. 🙂
