Truth and Reconciliation is a day to honour Survivors, remember those who never came home, and to reflect on the ongoing impact of the residential school system within Indigenous communities. PRT is proud to be working, learning, living, and helping on Treaty 6 territory.
Take the time to learn, listen, and act - every step matters in the journey towards reconciliation.

Monday was ! So, to celebrate, we wanted to share some of the ways we schedule 📓
Zaïde is a "Type A." She is very organized and methodical in her planning. As a busy person, Zaïde uses planners that she can take along with her, like her iCal and Reminders App. She also uses a full-size wall calendar for the month to see what she has going on the following week to make sure she can properly plan the current week. 🗓️ Her #1 tip is to colour code everything if you're super busy like she is! It tells you exactly what to expect at a quick glance.
Meghan, on the other hand, is “Type-B” when it comes to her planning. She can be very flexible in terms of how she does it, but uses some of the same strategies across methods. For example, her iCal is colour coded based on activities like “school”, “work” or “Socials." This helps Meghan with time blocking so they can study, hang out with friends, and plan some fun activities! They also use “Sticky notes," a feature on her laptop to help her plan what needs to get done during the week using a “Stoplight” system. 🟢 stickies are urgent, 🟡 are priority, and 🔴 are "to note." They also use a website called Notion from time to time to help with school and work brainstorming. Her #1 tip is to try things out to see what works for you! And give it time before you commit to one (or more) ways of planning.
What do you use to plan and prepare for your week? Let us know in the comments below! We'd love to try some of your tips and tricks and recommend them to others.
