On Monday, April 13, flags at Lambton Kent District School Board facilities in Lambton County, as well as secondary schools in Wallaceburg and Dresden will be lowered to half-mast in solemn remembrance and respect for those affected by the tragic incident at Lambton College.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Sarnia community. We keep all those impacted in our thoughts, particularly the students, staff, and families of Lambton College, and offer our sincere sympathy to the loved ones of those most deeply affected.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Alexander Mackenzie Secondary School at Lambton College is closed to all students and staff today.

We are thrilled to celebrate Naina Patel from Rosedale Public School, Sarnia who recently placed 2nd IN THE WORLD in the international Fiero Code Light Quest Competition!

Naina’s fully coded, story‑driven adventure game impressed global judges with its creativity, technical skill, and storytelling. When she saw the results, she had to reread them… and then the excitement hit! 🎉

Her achievement reflects her dedication and the LKDSB’s commitment to meaningful digital learning — from coding programs to technology‑rich classrooms that help students explore STEM pathways and real‑world problem‑solving.

📣📣Attention Grade 8 parents!

Oops! We made a mistake. 🤦‍♀️

The sash with the school colours was not made available for grad pictures. However, we have a solution: we have scheduled retakes, with the sash, for February 23, 2026. All grade 8 will have their pictures taken again – and therefore ask that no orders be placed until after those pictures are returned.

If you have already placed an order for pictures without the sash, we are working on a solution with LifeTouch for the previous order and will communicate what that is to you as soon as we can

The River Valley trip is on! We will be monitoring the conditions but please dress appropriately for the cold weather.
