Hi Everyone,

We are looking to borrow 2 diaper change tables from someone who has one that they are not using, for about 2 to 3 weeks starting June 29. Please reach out if you or someone you know has one we could borrow.

As part of our 50 Years, 50 Legacies community recognition series, we are proud to recognize Our Kids Child Care

Child care plays an essential role in our community — supporting working parents, helping families thrive, and providing the early learning environments that help children grow and succeed. Organizations like Our Kids Child Care are a vital part of making that possible.

Over the years, their team has been a tremendous source of knowledge and support as we work with individuals interested in entering the childcare field. Staff from Our Kids Child Care have generously visited several of our Introduction to ECE workshops to speak with participants about the day-to-day realities of working in a childcare centre. Most recently, they joined us again this week, offering their time and experience as an open book to those exploring careers in the sector.

They have also been a strong employer partner for our clients, providing opportunities for individuals to gain experience and employment— including shadowing staff to learn more about the profession and the environment of a childcare centre.

Thank you to Crystal Thompson and Tammy Trowbridge (pictured), and the entire Our Kids Child Care team for your passion for supporting children and families, and for your continued partnership in helping individuals explore meaningful careers in early childhood education.
