🏅 HISTORY IN MOTION
The starter’s horn sounded at Great Lakes Secondary School—and with it, a new LKDSB tradition was born.
For the first time, 531 elementary student athletes from across our entire bard came together for a unified Track & Field Meet— with representation stretching from Wheatley to Grand Bend.
From powerful sprints to soaring jumps and electrifying relays, the day was filled with determination, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments. Even more impactful? Students competing alongside peers they’d never met before, building connections that reached far beyond the finish line.
This wasn’t just a meet—it was the beginning of something bigger for LKDSB students.

Literacy night was a huge success! Thank you to Mrs. Knight and the families for join us on our pirate themed treasure hunt!

This week at London Road is going to be EPIC! Get ready to sample treats from a Galaxy far, far away! The Grade 6/7 & 7/8 classes are hosting their annual "May the 4th Be with You" Bakesale tomorrow (Monday, May 4th). Also, London Road is hosting a Spring Scholastic Bookfair! Students are welcome to shop the fair on Monday and Tuesday this week! The Bookfair will also be open during our Literacy Night "Sail into Reading" event on Tuesday from 4 - 6 PM. Hope to see you there!
