Paatsaali School Grades 7 to 12

What a beautiful parka! Linda created this beautiful coat in our High School Sewing Class.

Last week students in our grade seven sewing class completed beautiful, warm mittens. Great job! You now have a skill that will be with you for a life time!!

Students from Mary Kavik's High School Art Class displayed their Art Work on Monday in the school entrance. Such talent!! Congratulations to Kudlu, Masako, Leeann, Laina and Noah.

During our classes, the teaching staff are often amazed with the talent shown by our students. Following are pictures of our students with crafts they have completed in our Cultural Studies Shop and Sewing classes.

Last week the school ran a "Drop the Pop" campaign. Students were encouraged to seek healthy alternatives to soda pop throughout the week. We would like to congratulate the followingg students who were able to "drop the pop" for the entire week. They were rewarded with $15 gift certificates.

The Paatsaali High School students are finishing up the first semester courses at this time. Many of the courses will have a final exam. In the other courses the marks will be determined solely through attendance, projects, class work and tests.

The exams will be written on Monday (January 23) and Tuesday (January 24) of this week. Students in the High School (Grades 10, 11, &12) will attend school on these days and will write the scheduled exams. If they do not have an exam scheduled they do not have to attend school since the exams will be the only activity at the High School on Monday and Tuesday.

Students in Junior High School (Grades 7, 8 & 9) will have regular classes on Monday and Tuesday and will attend school at the regular times. On Wednesday, the normal school schedule for all grades will continue.
