g daytime and after school care to kids 12 months and up. Since gaining my certification in 2011, I have continued my education through workshops and self-directed learning as I believe in always building my ability to engage kids of all ages. On most days you will find me amongst the kids, as we play indoors in the dedicated playroom and get fresh air on the outdoor playground. Our indoor activities include: art (finger painting, brush painting, crafts, chalk, crayons & washable felts); free play; play dough; music (singing and instruments); and story time. Outdoors we: use sidewalk chalk; play ball games (child's basketball hoop); get in the sandbox; use the swing & slide; and take walks through the forested property. My daycare centre is located on a quiet street down Long Harbour Road, and I make efforts to make sure that all kids feel comfortable and welcomed.
