Classes begin September 14th, and our Winter Show will be held December 5th & 6th. Be sure to head to our website to check out all the important dates for the season!

At Shuswap Dance Center, we pride ourselves on providing quality dance education in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment. Whether your dancer is stepping into the studio for the very first time or is ready to take their training to the next level, there is a place for everyone here.

We believe recreational dancers deserve to feel just as valued and celebrated. Our recreational programs offer a fun, positive space to build confidence, make friends, and enjoy the joy of dance and movement.

🏆 Competitive Dance
Our competitive teams range from Pre-Competitive to Elite, offering dedicated dancers exceptional training and performance opportunities while challenging them to grow as artists and performers.

✨ Our 2026/27 season runs September 14–June 19.

Preschool and recreational dancers have the flexibility to register for one or both semesters, depending on availability:• September–December• January–June• Or join us for the full season!

We can’t wait to fill the studio with music, movement, laughter, and SO much dancing! 💕

Our annual intensive is the perfect opportunity for dedicated dancers to challenge themselves, refine their technique, and be inspired by an exceptional faculty.

Junior Intensive
🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Grades 2–4 Ballet
Senior Intensive
🕚 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Grade 5 Ballet – Advanced Ballet

A great week of dance for our dancers who attended Dance Training Okanagan !

Maryn, Hudson, Kendra, Rayne, Evie, and Eliza spent the week working hard, learning from incredible instructors, and making new friends. We’re so proud of their dedication and commitment to their growth as dancers!

The daily carpool karaoke was definitely a highlight of the week. 🎤🚗

Congratulations to Eliza on receiving 1 of only 8 scholarships for next year’s intensive!

Congratulations to our 13 & Up Champions League Winners in Whistler, BC! 🏆✨

Your performance of “No Title” was nothing short of powerful, emotional, and unforgettable. The dedication, passion, and hard work you brought to the stage truly paid off!

Whistler 2026 was one to remember! 🏆🩷

Our dancers brought home the Championship Cup! We also received 1st place for combined Duo/Trio scores and 3rd overall for combined Group scores — such an incredible accomplishment!

More than the awards, we are so grateful for our amazing students who showed perseverance, dedication, and heart throughout this competitive season. Watching them grow, shine, and show kindness has been the greatest reward.
