Have you ever held a snake or seen a real, live Iguana? On Monday, the Salmon Arm campus hosted a fun and informative event for Salmon Arm's first ever Youth Week celebrations. Youth Week is designed to celebrate our youth and to foster greater connections with services and programs in our community.

Titled 'Scales and Skeletons', the 2 hour event featured an iguana and a corn snake, along with a helpful infographic and book recommendations on snakes & reptiles of the Thompson Okanagan region.

While visiting the Biology lab and chatting with our Biology instructor, Salmon Arm youth and caregivers also had a chance to view and learn about a variety of skulls and skeletons.

The beautiful day attracted a great group of creative people 🧑‍🎨 who generously let us take their photo! Happy end of class and start of summer!☀️
