🪴 We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Green Farms for their generous contribution of a blackberry and Saskatoon bush to our school's community garden. With the onset of summer, we kindly request volunteers to assist with watering duties on a weekly rotational basis, which entails watering every second day by using the readily accessible water hose.

🌍 Host Families Urgently Needed in Salmon Arm and Enderby
As we get ready to welcome our September 2026 International Students, SD6 is facing a big challenge - they have students coming to SD83 who still need a homestay family in Salmon Arm and Enderby.
These students are arriving soon, full of excitement and anticipation.
💡 Have you ever thought about hosting? Now is the perfect time to explore it.
SD6 is offering flexible options, including short-term placements (2–3 months) for families who may not be able to commit long-term.
✅ Monthly reimbursement of $1,100 per student (more for special diets)
✅ Full support from our local Homestay Coordinator and Homestay Manager
✅ An incredibly rewarding experience making a real difference in a young person’s life

Our last PAC meeting of the 2025/2026 school year is this Monday June 8th at 6pm in the library. Childcare is provided.

We will be making the final arrangements for the school wide free hot lunch for fun day. We would love volunteers to help out with prep and serving. Please join us and help support our little school. Just an hour of your time goes along way for the school. Thank you 😊

📣A couple important PAC events today!📣

🌸Today is plant pick up from 2-5pm at the school.

🎉Our annual AGM PAC Meeting is at 6pm in the library.
We are desperately looking for other parents/caregivers to join us. Babysitting provided.

We are hoping to fill 3 positions. All it requires is 1 volunteer hour a month for 10 months.

This is critical to keep the PAC supporting the school and kids. We help fund free lunches, field trips, bussing and other needed items for classrooms/school.

We need your support. Hope to see you tonight.

Orders close April 23rd and pick up day is May 11th.

South Broadview Elementary School Support South Broadview Elementary students through the purchase of spring plants.

Last night, 4 of our executive members were invited to an info session at the SD83 District Education Center. We heard from Superintendent Donna Krieger, Vice-Superintendent Chelsea Prince and Dictrict PAC executive members. It was a very informative evening and we look forward to sharing what we learned with you at our April 13th South Broadview PAC meeting.
