Hello,

This message goes out to anyone who wishes to do something exciting before starting school. The following activity is shared with many individuals in the college and you may find it easier to break the ice with some common ground.

An event that I will be running for the second time and greatly enjoyed is called "The Color Run", here is a video to give you a general idea. It is a fundraiser and you must pay a registration fee which is done online on there main cite, the cost is now around $50-55 depending if you run alone or in a team.

I hope some of you will come.

So the bowling activity will take place saturday the 23rd of february (so, not tomorrow, but next saturday).

We will meet up at Fairview @ 6:00pm to head over downtown!

Hey guys!

Hope your first days of classes went well!

This Saturday (the 26th) we will be going to do the new International students' OPUS card, and then attending a festival called Fete des Neiges downtown at Jean Drapeau!

For the NEW students, you have received a MIO saying where you will be meeting up and at what time (either John Abbott at 8:30am or Fairview at 9:45am; please check you MIOs to see where you will be meeting up, you do not get to choose!)

For returning students, you guys are welcome to join us at the festival for around 2:00pm!

As for volunteers, it would be great if you guys could join us at Fairview at 9:45am to help out or hang out for the day!

I have already sent MIOs, but if anyone is interested, feel free to message me privately to let me know and I can also give my cell phone number!

JAC International Graduation (Fall 2012)

Hey everyone, so as you may or may not know there is a Variety show being held at the college next thursday. Here is the message from omnivox:

Tickets are now on sale for this semester's variety show: STARS OF GOLD. The show will feature numerous acts from some very talented John Abbott students.

The show is taking place November 15th at 7:00 PM in the Agora. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Come buy your ticket at Student Activities H-159! All proceeds go to West Island Community Shares.

I'll be there and hope to see some of you there as well.
