If you have a new child in kindergarten (jk) you would have received this information during the orientation day you went to in June.

Please keep in mind if there are any pending changes, you will be informed by the school when they are back up and operating from summer holidays.

Our school has been, and currently still is undergoing renovations that they are working hard to complete prior to opening. :)

Please be patient as staff transition into getting the school year up and rolling. You will receive any or all information you need, in time for the new year. :)

Also, if you’re new here, please keep in mind this is also a VOLUNTEER PARENT RUN page, for information and or highlights.

I will update as I know things, but not everything the school says will be posted here. It will be important for you to learn how to set up and use your email notifications from the school directly, and learn how to set up your SCHOOL MESSENGER APP, to receive regular Thames Valley District School Board, and Southwold notifications, once the school year gets rolling :)

With another school year just around the corner, it’s time to label ALL the things!

From JK–Grade 8, our kids’ belongings can travel far and wide during the school day! Coats, sweaters, shoes, backpacks, lunch containers, water bottles, school supplies… you name it!

Name labels make it so much easier to get those lost items back where they belong. ❤️

If you like to prepare your students for school and get items while on sale, here is a list of things that can be helpful!!

Remember to LABEL your clothes. We also have a link to Oliver’s labels which is helpful to keep your little ones clothing and items coming home! You can purchase labels here and every purchase comes back to the school to put back into Southwold kids using this link!

💗 There is NO obligation at all for families to purchase anything. This is simply one parent sharing local savings with other parents who want to and/or are in a position to get a few things ahead of time while on sale.

If you’re new to kids in school, You don’t need to buy everything now! If your child’s class needs anything specific, your teacher will let you know after school starts.

Our home and school association would like to treat every student to a free piece of cheese pizza on Wednesday, June 24.

We are so grateful for such a wonderful school of students and staff.
