Dear Elgin Court School Community,
As I prepare to say goodbye, I find myself reflecting on the past four and a half years with immense gratitude and pride. Elgin Court has been my first school as a principal, and I truly could not have imagined a more incredible place to begin this journey.
To our amazing staff—thank you for your unwavering dedication, professionalism, and care for our students each and every day. It has been an honour to work alongside such a talented and committed team.
To our students—you are the heart of Elgin Court. Your curiosity, resilience, kindness, and energy inspire me daily. It has been a joy to watch you learn and grow.
And to our parents and families—thank you for your partnership, your trust, and your advocacy for your children. Even when we may not always agree, it has always been clear that we share the same goal: supporting our students and helping them succeed. That shared commitment is what makes this community so strong.
Leaving Elgin Court is not easy, but I carry with me so many wonderful memories and deep appreciation for all of you. Please keep in touch—I would truly love to hear how your families are doing in the future. Feel free to send updates anytime.
Wishing you all a safe, happy, and restful summer.
With heartfelt thanks,
Mrs Jeffries

Thank you to our amazing PTA for all that they do all year to support our students. Most recently, they put on a BBQ for all students during our Play Day.
Special thank you to Betsy and Michelle who have been part of PTA for over 10 years each. Their youngest children are graduating this year which means they will also be moving on. Thank you for the countless hours you have dedicated to our school community!

Two reasons Elgin Court is the best school:
1- we have an amazing community that donated over $1000 towards our Jump Rope for Heart Fundraiser which earned our booster of staff wearing inflatable costumes today.
2- we have an amazing staff that jumped on board with a silly idea Mrs Jeffries had to have a race in the inflatables.
These both created a super fun afternoon for our students and staff!
