Attention SSHS Families!

Our new Provincial School Lunch Program is now available at St. Stephen High School! 🍎

Through our partnership with Chartwells, families can purchase nutritious school lunches for their children at a reduced cost.

Lunches are available on the days you choose. Participation is completely optional.

Daily meal choices include a main item, a side, and a choice of milk or water. Vegetarian options are also available.

Meals are $5 for students in Grades 9-12.

Orders must be placed in advance. Orders and cancellations can be made up until 8:00 a.m. the day before delivery. Monday orders must be submitted by Friday morning.

Full subsidies are available for families who need financial support, and all requests are handled confidentially. Please call us at 506-466-7312.

More detailed information, including registration instructions, ordering details, deadlines, and contact information, has been sent to family email accounts. Please take a few minutes to review that information carefully.

Over the course of the semester, our Journalism 120 class will publish a monthly newsletter called The Spartan Scoop.

The newsletter is designed to keep Spartan students, staff, and parents informed about what’s happening at SSHS, while also giving our journalism students an opportunity to develop valuable skills in interviewing, co-creating, reporting, and storytelling.

Honours Roll Pancake Breakfast Celebration! 🥞

On Friday morning, we had the pleasure of celebrating our students who achieved Honours Roll in June! We are incredibly proud of their dedication, hard work, and academic accomplishments.

A special thank-you goes to our Leadership students and the many teachers who volunteered their time to help plan the celebration, set up, serve breakfast, and organize games and activities. Your efforts helped make the morning a fun and memorable way to recognize our students.

Congratulations to all of our Honours Roll recipients! We are so proud of you!

Terry Fox Walk at SSHS

We’re excited to come together as a school community to participate in our annual Terry Fox Walk on October 6th! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get active, learn about Terry Fox’s incredible legacy, and understand the importance of giving back and supporting others.

We encourage all students to participate. Learning happens both inside and outside the classroom, and taking part in events like the Terry Fox Walk helps students develop a sense of community, compassion, and social responsibility.

💰 Please bring a toonie ($2) to support cancer research. Every contribution, big or small, helps carry Terry’s Marathon of Hope forward.
