📣 ADHD Parent & Caregiver Support Group – This July! 💙

Parenting a child or youth with ADHD (or suspected ADHD) can come with lots of questions, challenges, and learning opportunities. This upcoming group is designed to provide helpful information, practical strategies, and support for parents and caregivers.

🗓 Tuesdays from 12:00–1:00 PM

• July 28

📞 To register, call 506-466-7380 and ask to be added to the ADHD Group list.

✅ You do not need to be receiving ongoing services from the Child & Youth Services team to attend.

✅ Your child/youth does not need a confirmed ADHD diagnosis for you to participate.

Can’t make the July sessions? No problem! A waitlist is being created for future groups, so you’re encouraged to call and add your name for upcoming offerings. 💙

🌟 Our Grade 5 Farewell celebration gave us the chance to recognize some incredible student leaders who have helped make our school a better place this year!

These students have set the bar high through their kindness, responsibility, teamwork, and willingness to lead by example. Whether helping younger students, lending a hand when needed, or showing school spirit, they have demonstrated what true leadership looks like every day.

We are so proud of the positive impact they have had on our school community and know they will continue to do amazing things as they move on to middle school. Congratulations to these outstanding leaders—we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! 🎉👏💙💛

☀️ The Final Week of School is Here! ☀️

It’s hard to believe, but our last week of school before summer vacation is upon us! 🌞📚 We have a fun-filled week ahead, with many classes enjoying special activities and celebrations. Be sure to check the SSES Buzz for details specific to your child’s class. 🐝✨

🍎 Important Reminder: There is no cafeteria service this week, so all students will need to bring a packed lunch each day.

🧺 Schoolwide Family Picnic – 12:15-2:00 on Wednesday!
All families and caregivers are invited to join us for our annual Schoolwide Picnic! Pack a lunch, bring a blanket, and enjoy some time with your child and our school community. After lunch, stay and enjoy some playground fun if your schedule allows! 💙🌳🛝

📄 Report Cards
Report cards will be issued on Friday, June 19.

🧥👟 Lost & Found
Our Lost & Found items will be displayed in the school lobby throughout the week. Families and caregivers are welcome to stop by and see if any forgotten treasures belong at home before everything is packed up for the summer! 🔍🎒

We’re looking forward to a wonderful final week filled with learning, laughter, and celebration! 🎉😎🌈

🌊🔍 What a wonderful day of adventure for our SSES Kindergarten classes! ☀️

Taking advantage of the low tide, our youngest learners headed to The Point in St. Andrews to search for treasures along the shore. 🐚🦀🌊 Their day of exploring continued with a warm welcome from the students and staff at VMES, where they enjoyed time playing on the wooden playground. 🛝😊

To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a delicious ice cream treat from Sea La-Vie Snack Shack St. Andrews 🍦💙 A huge thank you for the very generous donation that made this special surprise possible.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the families and caregivers who volunteered their time to join us on this adventure! ❤️
