This course is available for paid or unpaid work placements and is worth 5 credits for 125 hours. Students must have HCS 3000 as a prerequisite.

There’s still time to register for TRAD133: Intro to Trades!

Ready to try something hands-on this summer? Intro to Trades gives students the chance to explore a variety of exciting career pathways, including carpentry, mechanics, barbering, and welding.

Students will learn in industry-standard labs, build practical skills, and take part in introductory safety training to help them start with confidence.

Course dates: June 29–July 10
Class times: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 1:00–3:30 p.m.
No classes: July 1

From tools to techniques, this is a great opportunity to get a feel for the trades and discover what sparks your interest!
