Beyond Your Story was never meant to be “just” a program.
It became a journey… and somehow, music found its way into the healing too. 🎶
This soundtrack was inspired by the 12 weeks we walk through together.
Each song reflects pieces of the work, the emotions, the breakthroughs, the memories, the hope, the letting go, and the becoming.
It may not be everyone’s style of music, and that’s okay.
But this album holds a very real piece of my heart.
Some songs were written from pain, some from healing, and some from the version of ourselves we are still learning to meet. ✨
My hope is simply this…
That maybe one lyric, one melody, or one moment in these songs reminds someone they are not alone in what they carry.
Thank you for listening with an open heart. 💗

It’s interesting how a picture can create an entire perception of someone.

Confidence.
Strength.
Grounded.
Empowered.
Certain.

And while parts of that are true… this picture doesn’t show the moments where I overthink.
The moments where I question myself.
The moments where I walk away from a conversation replaying it in my head wondering if I was misunderstood… or if I misunderstood someone else entirely.

Because the truth is, some days, my confidence can be less than other days.

And I think many of us are walking around carrying assumptions about each other based on what we see on the outside, while privately navigating very human experiences on the inside.

Have you ever walked away from a conversation thinking:
“That’s not what I meant at all.”

Or felt misunderstood even though your intention came from a genuine place?

Sometimes, within seconds, your nervous system reacts before logic even has time to catch up.

Your thoughts speed up.
Your body becomes alert.
You replay the conversation while also trying to explain yourself, stay composed, and make sense of the moment all at once.

And honestly? More people experience this than we probably realize.

Especially those who feel deeply, think quickly, notice energy, or process emotions and situations on multiple levels at the same time.

Sometimes the brain simply moves faster than the moment itself.

You may speak too quickly.
Overexplain.
React too fast.
Or walk away thinking:
“That came out completely wrong.”

Trust me… I’ve been there.

Not from bad intentions.
Just from being human.

Feeling misunderstood is something I’ve navigated for years, especially during moments where I feel vulnerable, uncertain, or emotionally stretched.

And what I’ve learned is that feeling misunderstood can sometimes make us turn against ourselves.

We start overthinking.
Replaying.
Questioning our intentions.
Trying to fix how others see us.
Trying to explain ourselves over and over just to feel understood.

But sometimes… both things can exist at once:
✨ Maybe our delivery was imperfect.
✨ And maybe the other person interpreted it through their own experiences, emotions, or perception.

That doesn’t automatically make either person wrong.

I still catch myself believing people communicate the way I do.
That they notice the little shifts, the silence, the tone, the energy behind words the same way I naturally do.

But life keeps reminding me that we all process communication differently.

Some people will instantly understand your heart.
Others may not fully connect to your intention.
And that’s okay too.

I think growth is learning how to stay connected to yourself even in moments where you feel misunderstood.

To pause instead of spiraling.
To breathe before overexplaining.
To give yourself grace instead of shame.
To remember that imperfect communication is part of being human.

And maybe self-awareness is not about needing everyone to fully understand us…

Maybe it’s about understanding ourselves enough that we stop abandoning who we are in the process. 🌿
