Signing with your child is a great way to spend quality time connecting and encouraging them to communicate and share with you. I fell in love with Signing Time when I started signing with my daughter. It was so much fun to learn ASL right along beside her. It was a great bonding experience and helped me become a more responsive parent. Rachel, the founder of Signing Time, inspired me because she turned her challenges into her passion. I love playing the piano and I love sign language. Just as Marilyn Daniels coined in her sign language book called, "Dancing with Words", sign language is an art form, a musical expression. We did fall in love with it as we introduced our little ones to their first words, their first songs, and their first signs and that respect lasted from then on.
