Providing individualized education to help your child meet their learning goals.

But here’s the thing…

Good teaching isn’t about having the newest resource. It’s about knowing what the learner in front of you needs right now.

The most effective learning happens when we can observe, listen, adjust, and respond in real time.

That might mean putting the worksheet away and getting out the manipulatives.

It might mean changing the lesson because the child needs more movement.

It might mean slowing down, going back a step, or approaching the concept in an entirely different way.

I choose to meet my students where they are, not where a curriculum, worksheet, or scope and sequence says they should be.

The resource is just the tool.

The magic is in the responsive teaching. 🍎✨

Today marked the final day of our Summer Learning Series! 🌿✨

We wrapped up our time together by slowing down, exploring nature, and collecting beautiful materials to use as our paintbrushes. 🌼🌿

From forest hikes and hands-on learning to muddy adventures, creative projects, and lots of laughter, these past few weeks have been full of curiosity, connection, and so much learning.

We’re so grateful for the little learners who made this summer so special. 🤍

Until next time, keep exploring, keep creating, and keep thriving! ✨

✨ EDUCATOR SPOTLIGHT: MEET YULIIA ✨

Say hello to Yuliia! 🤍 We’re so happy to have her as part of the Thrive team!

Originally from Ukraine, Yuliia’s journey has taken her from Ukraine to Poland and, for the past two years, to Canada. Along the way, she’s picked up a few languages too - she speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Polish! 🌎✨

Yuliia has a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy and Special Education and has experience working with children with different abilities and support needs, including children with visual impairments, developmental challenges, and autism.

What Yuliia loves most about working with children is getting to know each child for who they are. She believes every child learns, communicates, and experiences the world a little differently - and that’s what makes working with them so special. 🤍

She loves creating a space where kids can feel comfortable being themselves, have fun, try new things, and know that there’s always someone there to encourage them (and probably join in on the silliness too! 😄).

Outside of work, Yuliia loves baking something sweet, taking photos with her film camera, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors. 📷🥐🌿

We’re so excited for you to get to know Yuliia and so lucky to have her at Thrive! ✨🤍

Edits on edits on edits…

Writing this book has reminded me to slow down and enjoy the process. Every round of revisions makes it stronger, clearer, and more valuable.

It’s taking longer than I expected, but I’m committed to getting it right.

The wait will be worth it.
Coming soon, I promise!

What a week! My heart is so full. 🍎🤍✨

From early morning nature hikes to strengthening literacy and numeracy foundations, this week reminded me that the best learning happens when children feel safe to be themselves.🌿📖✌🏼

We explored, questioned, laughed, made mistakes, celebrated growth, and embraced every child’s unique way of learning. Those are the moments that matter most. ✨

Thank you to our incredible families for trusting us with your children this week.

I’m looking forward to doing it all again during our August Summer Learning Series!

Here’s to more adventures, more learning, and more moments that help children truly thrive. 🍎✨

Kindred spirits, magical moments, and stories that stand the test of time. 🍎✨

Anne reminds us that the best summer learning happens through imagination, curiosity, and seeing the world with wonder. ✨

These everyday moments are where the deepest learning happens. 🍎✨

1. Get outside and explore. Nature is the best classroom! Observe, ask questions, collect treasures!

2. Play games together. Card games & board games strengthen math, language, and problem-solving skills without feeling like “work.”

3. Let them be bored. Creativity, imagination, and problem-solving often begin when kids have the space to create their own fun.

4. Follow their interests. Dinosaurs, bugs, baking, hockey, art! Learning is most meaningful when it’s connected to what your child already loves.

5. Read together every night before bed. Just 15–20 minutes a day builds vocabulary, comprehension, and a lifelong love of reading.

If I’m being completely honest… your presence is the best teacher. The way you read, explore, wonder, create, and spend time together models what you value. ❤️🍎✨

Our last lesson of the school year was spent learning through play. ✨

Learning through play reinforces skills, builds confidence, encourages problem-solving, and makes learning meaningful and memorable. 👌🏻✨

A wonderful way to end an incredible year. ❤️

it’s all about safety here. 👀🌿

Yes, it is super fun to clean, but the main goal is making sure there are no broken bits or hidden hazards left behind.

Safe + clean = more space to explore, create, and play!✨

Thrive Families, I need your help!!

I’ve written a beautiful book to help your children learn their alphabet sounds through movement.

My talented artist Williams Sarah has completed her stunning artwork and now our digital editor is working his magic.

Once we decide on the font alignment, the book will be ready for its final stages!

Do you prefer the font:

✨ left aligned
✨ left aligned with a hanging indent
✨ centred
✨ right aligned

Please help a girl out and let me know your preferred alignment in the comments!

I can’t wait to share this book with you!!!
