A few months back, Kara Angus (ELP1) asked for some donations from our Alumni Network. They came through within hours of her ask.

Thank you Kara for the leadership and to our alumni to stepped up and donated.

We are incredibly grateful to celebrate an extraordinary $75,000 contribution from 15 Wallace McCain Institute Alumni, who each contributed $5,000 toward naming recognition of the Empowerment Studio at the Chalmers Foundation Cancer Support Centre.

A special thank you to Kara Angus for her leadership in bringing together this incredible group of entrepreneurs and leaders and inspiring them to come together for this important cause.

The Care & Support Centre serves as the dedicated home for free community-based cancer support programming, offering welcoming, thoughtfully designed spaces for its Learn & Live Well, Strength & Movement, Care & Support, and Create & Express offerings.

The goal of the centre is to enhance physical well-being, emotional and social resilience, and meaningful community connection for individuals with lived cancer experiences, and their support networks, at any point in their journey.

$5,000 each. $75,000 together. A lasting impact for our community.

The best leadership development doesn't stop with one person, it strengthens an entire organization.

After completing the Strategic Executive Program, Stewart Cosman of
Global Windows and Doors, took what he learned back to his team, using the tools and frameworks from the program to help develop the people who report to him.

AI adoption isn’t a willingness problem for business owners. It’s a support problem.
