The children’s lemonade stand/bake sale was a big success! 🍋🍪☀️

Thank you to every family member, friend, co-worker, and community member that stopped by to enjoy a cold refreshing glass of lemonade or treat in support of the children! They had a blast baking, serving, earning money, seeing familiar faces and engaging with the community! All funds raised will be going to their summer field trips!

Lemonade Tuff Tray using the light table 🍋🫖🧊💧🍓🍶💡

The PreK class was presented with a sensory opportunity to explore their senses with a water based activity this afternoon in the light table in preparation for the lemonade stand our school-age children will be hosting on Thursday at the centre to engage with the community!

They explored liquid pouring, exploration of feeling the coldness of ice, measuring, sharing with peers, communication with peers, creativity, and imagination!

Lemonade Stand/Bake Sale!

Time: 10 am-1 pm

The schoolers will be baking up some goodies this week for their lemonade stand/bake sale on Thursday, July 16th! Come by to enjoy a refreshing glass of ice cold lemonade or a baked good in support of the kiddos summer field trips!

This is an event that the children always really look forward to, get excited about and gives them an opportunity to learn about earning money and working together as a team! Thank you for supporting the kiddos and their goals! 🍋🚌☀️

We are also looking for casual staff to support ratios, breaks, and coverage.

Collaboration with NBCC 📚

Earlier this week some preschool age children took a mini field trip to New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) to collaborate with with Early Childhood Education students! This experience is very valuable, important and essential to the Early Childhood Education students and the children! The students had the opportunity to engage in experimental learning through real life engagement, interactions and observations of children in the community. This learning opportunity for future early childhood educators supports encouraging high quality early childhood education environments and interactions within the field which benefits the children! The children loved exploring the different props, materials, furnishing and loose parts in the environment as well as interacting with the ECE students!

Early Childhood Education Instructor: Niki, organized for New Brunswick Children’s Author: Kimothy Stewart to read her children’s book “Morgan Moose Visits New Brunswick Provincial Parks!”. Author Kimothy brought Morgan Moose with her to visit the children! The children loved interacting with Morgan Moose and listening to the story.

🍂Fall is in the air at Embrace Early Learning Centre!

This tuff tray invitation for the children in PreK that includes materials for sensory, literacy, and numeracy.

This invitation encourages and supports emotional regulation, creativity, counting, measurements, reading, problem solving, communication with peers, turn taking and fine motor skills.

The children were invited to make pumpkin or apple pies but were also welcome to use their imagination to create other kinds of recipes!

🧁🍋The Bake Sale/Lemonade Stand was a huge success with the school age children raising $368 in profit towards summer outings and fun activities! We want to thank everyone who came out to support the children at Embrace Early Learning Centre from family, friends, people in the community, and even a friendly visit from a police officer for a nice cold glass of lemonade! The bake sale items sold out quickly in the first 45 minutes or so! The children are eager to host another Bake Sale in the near future!🍋🧁
