Children are actively engaged in collaborative construction, problem-solving, effective communication, mathematical reasoning to achieve balance, literacy development within the block area, and the joy of play. This scenario perfectly embodies our commitment to learning through play.

KV 4’s

Today we created our very own touch tank!! We placed rocks, ferns for seaweed, sticks for driftwood, sea shells, last but not least all the sea animal’s and water, lots of water. I asked if anyone has been to an aquarium where you can touch sea creatures. Some said yes and others were unsure. We discussed how we would pick up each creature and learned lots of fun facts about them.
Did you know, that if a predator tries to eat the star fish’s legs, they can come off and grow new ones. This was something I learned.
They loved this!!! Getting wet, rearranging the touch tank environment and exploring a whole new world.
