This week at CAM, our Game Coding Summer Camp was packed with big ideas and endless passion! These young creators spent the week diving into code, building custom mechanics, and bringing their very own virtual worlds to life.

Seeing their excitement when their code runs and their characters come alive is what it's all about! Hard work, tons of fun, and serious creativity. 💻✨

Have you ever wondered how animated characters move so naturally?

Before a character can walk, jump, wave, or express emotions, animators create a rig: a digital skeleton that gives the character structure and allows it to move.

It's one of the essential steps in the animation process and one of the many concepts students explore as they bring their creations to life.

Great animation doesn't happen in a single step.

It starts with observation, grows through creativity, and comes to life through practice, refinement, and testing.

Inspired by vintage arcade machines, this project showcases the creative process behind building a complete 3D game asset from scratch.

From modeling and texturing to lighting and the final render, every detail was created by one of our Animation students as part of a class assignment.

Projects like this help students build both technical skills and a portfolio that reflects their creativity.
