🌟 K1A, K1B or K1C — What’s the difference?

Our K1 Cantonese class is for beginners aged 5–8.

🟢 K1A – Saturday
“A” stands for Saturday. Beginner Cantonese class.

🔵 K1B – Sunday
“B” stands for Sunday. Same K1 beginner program, on Sunday.

🟠 K1C – Cantonese + English & French
“C” is for children who need extra language support. The teacher will use Cantonese, English and French to explain and guide students.

👉 K1C is a great option for children who don’t speak Cantonese at home or are complete beginners.

Meet Ms Leung💛 梁老師 👩🏻‍🏫📚

Having been a student, parent, and teacher within the local Chinese school community, Ms. Leung has developed a deep understanding of the expectations and aspirations families hold for their children’s education. She is dedicated to helping each child build a meaningful connection with the Chinese language and culture, ensuring this rich heritage is carried forward to future generations.

Ms. Leung continually adapts her teaching methods and materials to meet the evolving needs of today’s learners. Her approach is nurturing, engaging, and dynamic, with a strong focus on supporting every child in reaching their full potential within a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Meet Ms Wong 🌸 黃老師 👩🏻‍🏫✨

Ms. Wong is passionate about language education and holds a strong academic background in the field. She graduated with First Class Honours in Chinese Language and Literature from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and earned her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Tsukuba, Japan. With several years of experience teaching Cantonese,

Ms. Wong is committed to helping students develop a strong foundation in the language. Her teaching approach integrates oral communication, reading, and writing—encouraging students to explore Cantonese in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way. She believes in interactive learning that builds both confidence and fluency, and she looks forward to supporting each student’s journey with structured and enjoyable lessons.
