Good afternoon Bulldog families, this is Mr. Belliveau with some bus updates for this afternoon.

Due to a bus issue we have to slightly change some bus runs today.

Shallop Cove Bus students will be dismissed at 2:30 today.

Students who normally take Georgie's bus for stops ONLY between the school and Black Bank area will take Kevin's bus today only.

Students who normally take Georgie's bus and live beyond Black Bank will still take Georgie's bus

Finally students who normally take Joe Ingram's bus will take Georgie Tobin's bus for today only.

Very sorry about this and we will do our best to maintain normal drop off times but there is a possibility for some stops to be minutes different than normal.

Take care and thanks for understanding, please reach out to the school by phone or email with any questions or concerns

It has come to the attention of Bayview Academy Administration that there have been incidents as of late where parents and guardians who are dropping off their children at school in the morning are passing the school bus when the bus caution lights are flashing and the stop sign is deployed. This is a major safety concern and if continued will result in RCMP involvement. Vehicles may not, at any time, pass a parked school bus when caution lights are flashing and the stop sign is out. Thank you for your continued commitment to keeping our children safe!

From Mrs. Hussey:

✈️🇮🇹🇪🇸 Italy & Spain — Summer 2027! 🇪🇸🇮🇹✈️

I'm excited to offer students in Grades 7–12 the opportunity to travel to Europe with EF Educational Tours for an unforgettable 8-day adventure!

🌍 Our tour will visit:
📍 Florence
📍 Rome
📍 Madrid
📍 Barcelona

Students will have the opportunity to experience incredible history, culture, food, architecture, and new perspectives while travelling and learning alongside their peers.

This is a big adventure — and an exciting one! Before making any commitment.

I ask that all interested families speak with me first. There are many things to consider when deciding whether an international student trip is the right fit for your child, including the length of the trip, travel expectations, independence, group responsibilities, cost, and being away from home.

A conversation with me will give families an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about what the trip will involve, and decide together whether this is the right experience for their student.

For more information or to arrange a conversation, please contact me at [email protected].
