🏆 The 10th Arab Reading Challenge Concludes at E.S.GISH
​E.S.GISH School is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the 10th Arab Reading Challenge.
​We congratulate our students who reached the final stages and participated in the virtual judging sessions conducted by the committee in Dubai. In recognition of their achievements, students have received their certificates and medals, and we confirm that financial prizes are being processed and transferred from Dubai to their accounts.
​We are proud of our students' dedication to reading and look forward to the 11th edition of the challenge. Registration will open at the beginning of the next academic year.

Miss Cook's Kinders had an amazing time on their city bus field trip! We were even lucky enough to stop by the fire station and meet some firefighters! Have a great summer!

2J had a great time at the Little White School today learning about what school was like in the past.

2J had a great time reading Charlottes Web in their blanket forts today!

We hosted our first FUND Run where students ran daily during the last week of May, raising over $3000 in donations for Kid Sport! To celebrate our students hard work, we finished off the event with a teacher race! Students and staff alike enjoyed cheering our crew on!

🥁 Elmer Gish School celebrated Asian Heritage Month with an incredible performance by Edmonton’s own Kita no Taiko!

Students in grades 4–9 experienced the powerful energy and rich history of Japanese drumming firsthand. It was a loud, vibrant reminder of the strength and unity found in celebrating our diverse community heritage! 🇨🇦🇯🇵✨

Leadership 8/9 students got to volunteer on Friday May 29th at the International Children’s Festival! It’s always so fun to be doing outreach volunteering (outside the school) and showing up for our amazing community of St Albert. Especially for such a cool festival!

Grateful to the organizers (shoutout to Martina and Kathleen!) for giving us the opportunity to try something new. As well as for coming to lead our own orientation at the school the week before to make it more accessible to everyone!
