Spoiled once again by our amazing Staff Appreciation Parent Committee! ☕💝
To celebrate the end of another wonderful school year, they treated our staff to a private barista experience complete with specialty coffees, delicious treats, and thoughtful gift cards all morning long! We are truly grateful to be part of such a caring and generous parent community.

We celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day with special guests Larsen Yellowbird Sr. and his son, who shared their stories and taught students about the significance of tipi building. Students also enjoyed bannock and decorated dreamcatchers in their classrooms.
National Indigenous Peoples Day is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples. We extend our sincere thanks to our guests for sharing their knowledge and helping our students deepen their understanding and appreciation of Indigenous teachings and perspectives.

Congratulations to these amazing grade 5/6 Lacrosse players who came in 2nd place at the Holy Family Lacrosse tournament this afternoon! You played your little hearts out and really did well as a team.👏🎉 It was especially meaningful to see our schools come together to celebrate a game that holds such deep cultural significance for many Indigenous Peoples. We also appreciated beginning with the Four Directions Prayer and the Land Acknowledgement, which helped connect the tournament to the rich history and traditions of the game while fostering respect and understanding among our students. Thanks Holy Family Catholic School for organizing this tournament! 💙

📝 Exams continue this week. Please check the school newsletter or calendar for schedules and important information.

🍿 Monday & Tuesday – Enterprise and Innovation Business Days during the lunch hour! The canteen will be closed to support student businesses. Tickets are $1 each and all items are 5 tickets or less.

**Don't forget MPA Bottle Drive Drop off Tuesday & Wednesday to help support our Music Program. Come drop your bottles off at the back of the school!

🍧 Wednesday – Kona Ice is coming! All students and staff will receive a FREE Kona Ice.

🎓 Thursday – Grade 9 Farewell at Holy Family Parish beginning with Mass at 6:00 pm.

🍨 Friday – Our final House Competition! Staff House Leaders will create and serve ice cream or dessert creations during lunch. House points will be awarded for creativity, flavour, and most sales. Which House will come out on top?
