Art is always fun, and toddlers love to make messes. The children in our younger group were exploring paint using rollers. They also enjoyed touching the paint with their fingers.

Exploring nature is always a great way to spend time. The children in the Blue Room enjoyed running up and down the hills, rolling around and down the hill, collecting leaves and sticks as they played. They also enjoyed watching the creatures they saw as they played watching the birds move around the treetops.

Our friends exploring play dough. Sensory play is a great way for children to build their fine motor skills as they squish, squeeze, push, and pinch manipulating the dough to their desired outcome.

Sand play is always fun! The children love to fill, dump and manipulate sand. Our friends in the Rainbow Room love to take shovels full of sand and dump them into what ever containers they can find. They even like to lay in the sand moving around to make imprints in the sand with their bodies.

Art Play! Painting is always fun, and messy. The children are using cotton swabs and their fingers to create their pictures. The children noticed how the paint felt on their fingers, smearing it on their hands, then stamping the paper with their fingers and hands.

Sensory activities are always a great way to play. The children created slime and then using straws created large bubbles with their slime. The children enjoyed seeing how big they could make their bubbles before they popped.

Stacking is always a great way for children to learn. They love to see how high things can be before they fall over crashing to the ground. Working with others to stack, and build structures that are as tall if not taller then their bodies is always great.
Working together for a common outcome is always great.

This week our Preschool Program started. The children all had a great time exploring the new space and learning about one another as we work on "All about Me!"

Creating chalk for an art experience outdoors is so much fun and so messy. We love to get messy and being able to use art materials that allow us the opportunity to get messy and create.
