We are a licensed half day, part time preschool which became a Designated Early Learning Centre in January of 2019.
We offer classes for 2-5 year olds, and we follow a child directed, emergent curriculum. We believe that each child grows and learns through play, both free and directed. All spaces in our M-W-F class (children born in 2022) are full. Please email [email protected] on or after April 18th to be added to the waitlist if you are interested in this class.
Children born in 2023 are eligible to enroll in our T-Th class. There are spaces available for this class.
Although a $30 registration fee is required to reserve your spot, we ask that you wait for confirmation of enrollment acceptance to etransfer the registration fee.

The Board of Directors of Playschool Inc. is pleased to be accepting applications to its Bursary program for the 2023–24 academic year.
The Playschool Inc. Bursary offers an opportunity to a child who would benefit from the program and who might otherwise be unable to attend without financial assistance. The value of the Bursary will be determined on a sliding scale based on family income and government subsidy provided to Playschool Inc. on behalf of the child. The Playschool Inc. Bursary application deadline is Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. has been extended to the end of April!
PURPOSE:
To provide one Bursary to assist a child in attending Playschool Inc. for the 2023–24 academic year (September to June). It is expected that the child’s family will also apply for and receive financial assistance from the Provincial Government by completing its Subsidy Application Form, if eligible, which typically covers 40–80% of the monthly tuition fee. The Bursary will cover the balance of the monthly tuition. For the 2023–24 academic year, the tuition fees are:
3-year-old program, Tues. & Thurs., 8:30–11:30 a.m.: $59/month
4-year-old full day program, Mon., Wed. & Fri., 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.: $195/month
4-year-old half day program, Mon., Wed. & Fri., 8:30–11:30 a.m.: $85/month
