Looking back to the 2026 Summer Academy of Music…

July 12-18, we welcomed a talented and enthusiastic group of young musicians to the Mount Allison campus for the Summer Academy – an enjoyable week of music-making. We look forward to our next Summer Academy of Music in 2027!

2026 FCMF National Music Festival at MtA, July 25-29

The Federation of Canadian Music Festivals is proud to present the 2026 National Music Festival, which will take place at Mount Allison University, July 25-29. Top young classical musicians from across the country will convene on campus for the festival’s premier stream—the Emerging Artist competition.

FCMF National Music Festival sessions are open to the public, with competitor performances, masterclasses, and career development workshops running July 26-29. An Adjudicator Showcase performance will take place at 7pm on July 28; the festival culminates with the prestigious Grand Award Competition at 7pm on the evening of July 29. All students have free admission to National Music Festival events!
