Our end-of-year activity for 2013 was a day trip to Moncton to play at Mission Paintball, spend some time at Magic Mountain Water Park and shop at Champlain Place. Thanks to our awsome parents' committee and the staff at Mission and Magic Mountain for a great day!

On the May long weekend we headed out along the Dobson Trail between Moncton and Fundy National Park. Cadets hiked along the trail, searched for geocaches, tried out some field cooking and of course roasted s'mores around a roaring campfire. Cadets and staff from Prince Edward Island also joined us on this adventure!

This year the 681 Tantramar Air Cadets brought back a long-standing tradition with the return of their annual Tri-Service Day. Air, army and sea cadets from around the area were invited to attend, for a day of activities that included tabloid sports, marksmanship, astronomy, music, swimming, a cadets-only showing of Hotel Transylvania at Sackville's Vogue Theatre, and a dance. It was a chance to meet new friends and catch up with old ones! Thanks to Tantramar for inviting all of us!

On Nov. 23, our cadets were invited to the Dieppe Aquatic Centre for a cadet swim hosted by the Moncton Air Cadets. We swam, swung on the Tarzan rope, ran the Wibit foating obstacle course and hung out with sea, air and army cadets from the Moncton area and Sackville. Afterwards we went out for ice cream at Dairy Queen. Thanks to 650 Vanier Air Cadets for inviting us, and to Cpl. Trenholm's mom and Cdt. Arsenault's dad for driving!
