MTA Summer Camps

Hi!
My name is Elliot Tranquilla, and I’m a student at Mount Allison University studying psychology. I’ll be returning in the fall to complete my fourth year at Mount Allison, and I’m really looking forward to it. I enjoy learning new languages and skills, meeting new people, spending time outside, and travelling to new places. I’m really looking forward to my first summer as a camp counsellor, and I’m so excited to meet everyone and to have a fantastic summer. See everyone soon!

My name is Cassandra and I am happy to be joining the team! I am going into my 4th year studying psychology, and this is my first year as a camp counsellor at MtA summer camps. I am excited to be back and spend lots of time enjoying the nice weather. I am originally from Nicaragua and moved to Sackville to attend Mount Allison University. I love swimming, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and making lots of great memories this summer!

My name is Tiana Skerry, and I’m going into my fifth year at Mount Allison, studying psychology and biology. I love dancing, playing ringette, staying active, spending time with my younger siblings, and I also have a big passion for travel. I love exploring new places and cultures whenever I get the chance! This will be my second summer working as a camp counsellor at Mount A, and I’m so excited to be returning this year. I had such a great experience last summer and can’t wait to see everyone again while also meeting lots of new people. I’ve always loved working with kids, and I’m really looking forward to another fun summer together!

I am going into my third year at Mount Allison with a major in art history and a minor in fine arts. I am hoping to be a public librarian in the future! My name is Haley, I’m 22 years old and originally from Newfoundland but decided to come to Sackville to study psychology at Mount Allison University! I love all things music, art, road trips, and food. I’m so excited to be here this Summer and I know we’ll have so much fun 😊

My name is Elowyn (though campers may know me as Sunny), and I am so excited to be back for another amazing summer at MTA camps! I recently graduated from Mount Allison with my Bachelor of Science, Honours in Psychology, and I’m thrilled to be heading to Dalhousie University this fall to begin my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. I’m originally from PEI, but Sackville has truly become my second home. This will be my third summer at camp, which makes it extra special to return. I love spending time outdoors, hiking, playing games (especially pickleball and tennis!), and bringing lots of fun energy to camp. I can’t wait to meet you all – or see some familiar faces again!

When I’m not at camp, I enjoy yoga, reading, listening to music, and going on adventures! This is my first year as Summer Camp Intern, but I have experience working summer camps with children of all ages and abilities. I’m so excited to meet you all and have an amazing summer!

My name is Seungmin but feel free to call me Sig. I'm going into my third year at Mount Allison University with a major in International Relations and a minor in Commerce. I absolutely love playing the piano, solving Rubik's cubes, and doing magic tricks with cards. Having been to summer camps as a kid and being a volunteer for a Korean school, I've learned the importance of good leadership as both the kid and the leader. This is my first year being a camp counselor at Mount Allison, and I am so pumped to start; I cannot wait to meet everyone!
