Dufferin Street Afterschool Academy

Dufferin Street Afterschool Academy is seeking a dedicated Inclusion Support Worker to join our team. We are looking for someone who is not only active and energetic but also compassionate, patient, and able to create a positive and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, supported, and valued.

What We’re Looking For:
• Active and sporty, with a passion for engaging children in fun and healthy activities
• Kind, patient, and empathetic, with the ability to support diverse needs
• A great sense of humor and the ability to build trusting relationships with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience working with children (in education, recreation, or support roles) is an asset

Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and group support to children, ensuring inclusion in all activities
• Encourage positive social interactions and help children build confidence
• Assist in planning and leading recreational, educational, and sports-based activities
• Support children in managing challenges while fostering independence and resilience
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment
