Reptile Camp's SILENT AUCTION to raise money for Kayden's family closed last night with a final total of $575.00.

Birthday Shout out!!
Happy Birthday Victoria Barrette !

Victoria has worked for Reptile Camp for 2 years now. She just finished teachers college and will be doing amazing this for a long time to come. Victoria was our Camp Coordinator this summer, has preformed hundreds of shows and been inolved in many after school programs and special events.

She is an integral part of our program making sure everything gets completed, animals are happy and healthy, and the kids are having a absolute blast while remaining safe.

Victoria is one of the hardest working people I know, she's always positive, and always professional.

I hope you have an absolutely amazing birthday weekend with friends and family. Thank you,.for.being you!

HAMILTON FRIENDS...

With over the 30+ years running Reptile Camp we have seen 10's of thousands of kids come and go through our programs. Many are now working as teachers, biologists or im some other amazing field. Many are married, have kids of thier own, and some of those kids have also came through our program.

I met Cj Koshowski Opdam and John Opdam when they brought thier son Connor to our camps. Connor loved animals, and was one of the most polite kids you could ever meet. Sometimes he would get dropped off really early at my house for a ride in to camp so his parents could get to work on time.

John reached out to me the other day to inform me that Connor had tragically passed away in a vehicle accident while riding a motorcycle in Hamilton. It was 16 years between messeges from John and I.

I can't begin to understand the pain and sorrow that would go through parents during times like this.

A friend of the family has set up Go Fund Me and I thought I would share it. If you had a kid come to a camp, do a birthday party with us, visit the store, or the zoo, I encourage you to consider supporting. If you worked or volunteered for me, please...consider supporting.

This program is special. It brings us all together. We are all family and we are all connected.

Life is short, and can be unpredictable. Hug the ones you love!

Thank you for a great summer!

On behalf of the entire team at Reptile Camp we would like to thank all of our clients from the shows and events to the campers and families involved in our programs for your support this summer.

Our staff had an amazing summer bringing people up close and personal with our animal ambassadors at hundreds of events! Our entire team works very hard to ensure these programs are run professionally, while engaging the public, and keeping both people and animals safe. Thanks for your hard work and passion Olivia Forsyth, Ella Bryant, Kailen Myles and Victoria Barrette. This program really benefits from a team who is as dedicated as you are.

We are still booking lots of birthday parties and shows for the fall and winter. There is still time to book on site programs like small family tours, and alligator adventure programs.

This past Monday there was a very unfortunate and serious accident on highway 17 between North Bay and Bonfield. I drive this stretch of highway daily, and some times up to 6 times a day.
This accident took the life of a 11 year old boy. A family I don't believe I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Holly and I feel for them regardless. As a individual who loves working with kids, and helping youth this incident hot really close to home. Through these programs and events we have a large social media following and I am hoping we can count on that currently.

After school programs are just around the corner!

Were ready for the Fall-Winter, and the Winter-Spring after school programs offered by Reptile Camp!

Victoria Barrette and Kailen Myles are scheduled to run the following programs:

Thursdays
Arts and Crafts 5:00 pm-6:00 pm (Ages 5+) $60 for all 11 weeks
Junior Sports 6:00 pm-7:00 pm (Ages 7-11) $40 for all 11 weeks
Senior Sports 7:00 pm-8:00 pm (Ages 11+) $40 for all 11 weeks

We are running 2 sessions this year, both 11 weeks long. One is our Fall-Winter session, and 1 is our Winter-Spring session. Registration is open for both now!
