🧡 Every Child Matters. 🧡

Today, on Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

In our school community, we recognize that reconciliation is more than one day. It is an ongoing commitment to listen, learn, reflect, and take meaningful action. As educators, we have an important responsibility to help our students learn the truth about Canada’s history while fostering respect, understanding, and hope for the future.

Today we wear orange as a reminder that every child matters — past, present, and future. 🧡
