“A leader in every way” is how many would describe Andrew Milner ’17.

RNS Prep Basketball Coach Damian Gay reflects on Andrew’s legacy ahead of the Milner Invitational Tournament, an annual tradition on the Hill that honours Andrew’s memory as a talented athlete and rising star, and as a deeply missed member of our school community.

The Interhouse Cup is an annual competition that spans the entire school year, with students divided into four Houses: Lancaster [White], Stuart [Red], Tudor [Green], and York [Blue]. When students enter the school, they are assigned to a House, and throughout the year they can earn points for their team, with a victor announced at the Closing Ceremonies and Graduation.

This tradition dates back to the Netherwood School for Girls, where the Class of 1925 presented the original trophy. Rothesay Collegiate School also had a longstanding tradition of competition among the boys.
