E C WOOLS Rug Hooking Studio The Studio is my 'woman cave' - I love to spend time there teaching, dyeing, helping students design, draw and color plan their project.

I am the owner/operator/teacher of this studio in Rothesay N.B. Let me show you the basics of traditional rug hooking, and on through whatever else you wish to try hooking - primitive, pictorial, basic and realistic flower/leaf shading, designing, geometric, dyeing, portraits, rosemaling, crewel/ fancy stitches, Celtic, animals, birds, etc. I also teach you how to finish your project, so that it is complimentary to your hooking, how to look after your project when finished. You will realize this is an art, not just a lovely craft.

Well, I just sent a post inviting you to come for hooking at the Studio tonight, hit the 'post' sign and it disappeared!! If you are free and would like to get out for a bit - 7 to 9 tonight at the Studio - rug hooking, knitting, or any stitch project you want to work on - or just to chat and we'll solve all the world problems I am sure LOL!

Come to the front door; the pile of frozen snow at the top of the path is getting bigger by the week (day???). My little sign is in there somewhere - I forgot to take it in when the snow started! Reminder that there is no hooking/knitting/chat for tomorrow evening Aug. 28 - I will be at the skies class all day and probably exhausted! Also, none next week, Sept. 4 as I will be in Advocate for their Hook-In that day - staying in Amherst for a few days to catch up with family and a birthday celebration for my big sister (82 yesterday!!). Sorry about all this, but we will get together the following week, Sept 11 - be sure to invite anyone you think might be interested too! See you then!!
