Today in the Critter Classroom, Navdeep set up a fun sensory activity with rice, colourful animals, and Magna-tiles as a box. The children explored the tray while practicing colour identification and matching. A playful way to learn, explore, and build fine-motor skills!

🎃 Fall has arrived in the Jungle Room! 🎃
We’ve been taking full advantage of the changing season and have been having so much fun embracing all things Fall!Our little ones have enjoyed many enriching circle-time discussions about the changing weather, colours, and signs of the season, along with plenty of hands-on activities to keep our Jungle friends engaged and learning.
* We went on a walk to collect colourful Fall leaves, which we then turned into beautiful artwork!
* We created our very own handprint Fall trees.
* We made pumpkin spice-scented playdough — a perfect sensory activity for the season!
* Using paper plates, we painted our own pumpkins — or apples for those who preferred!
* We took a trip to Cochrane’s to choose our very own pumpkins, which we’ll be turning into jack-o’-lanterns later on!
* And to top it all off, one of our Jungle friends brought in some delicious Fall-themed cookies for us to enjoy together!

And we are not done yet! We are just getting started and have many more exciting plans for the jungle room as Fall unfolds!

The Butterflies Class spent some time under the ocean and learned all about sea life! We saw so many colorful creatures that live under the ocean and got to explore them through fun activities and art! What will we learn all about next? It’s hard to believe summer is coming to an end and that some of our Bee friends will soon be heading off to Kindergarten!
Time flies when you’re having fun, and August sure sped by! We packed in lots of fun and made some great summer memories with Movie Day, Slip & Slide at Lindsey’s, Ice Cream Day, and even trips to the Rothesay Commons and the Q-Plex!

We hope everyone had an amazing summer filled with lots of fun, laughter and memories!

Off to Big School!

It’s hard to believe that some of our Tender Tots friends are heading off to big school!

We have loved having the privilege of watching you grow, learn, make friends, and become the amazing little people you are today. We’re going to miss your smiles, laughs, and all the fun you brought to our days!

We are so proud of you all and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you’ll do in the future.

11 years. 🥹

Today we say goodbye to the girls in pink! They’ve been part of Tender Tots since they were babies. From first steps to the young ladies they are today, we’ve watched it all, and it’s hard to believe how quickly those 11 years have gone.

They spent the summer as leaders and absolutely rocked it! We’re so proud of them and excited to see what’s next.

The children in our lady bug class had an amazing outing this past week. They spent the afternoon at Lindsey's house and had a splashing great time on her slip and slide and having a picnic lunch. With most of them going off to school next week, it was a great end of summer party for them 🥰
