And just like that our final week of summer camp has come to a close! It’s hard to believe we’re here already! ☀️

We’ve had such a great final week of Music and Arts Junior camp in Rothesay! Our littlest campers have had a ball learning piano 🎹 with Hannah, 🎻 with Liana, 🕺🏻 with Mila, 🎭 and 🎵 with Shea, song ✍🏻 and 🎸 with Kayla, visual arts 🎨 with Joanna, making soundscapes 🎼 with Becky and so much more!

Big thanks to our amazing teachers for providing such enriching and valuable learning opportunities to our little campers!

And now for a quick shoutout to Shea, Charlotte, Katie, Tammy and Joanna who made these incredible costumes, props and set pieces for our theatre camps this month! Because the magic ✨ of theatre doesn’t happen with the performers alone! 🤩

Our last Music and Arts Junior camp wrapped up last week in Riverview and what an amazing, creative and play-filled week these campers had! 😃 🤩 🎵

They sang, danced, learned musical theatre, piano, strings, a bit about jazz, did arts and crafts each day and so much more!

Our educators for these camps are highly trained and come to camp with activities to ignite the passion and creative spark in these young people, while also fostering a warm and welcoming environment where they feel safe to be their truest selves, try new things and discover new interests! 🎶 🎨 🎷 🎻

We have to take a moment to give our student Ava Chapman a massive ADVM congratulations shout out for being the only Atlantic Canadian chosen to participate in the Broadway Evolved workshop intensive in NYC this summer!

Ava (Student of James in Riverview) wasable to attend workshops and Q&As with Broadway professionals over several days where she was given feedback, exposure and opportunity a theatre kid can only dream of! Here she is, pictured with Betsy Wolfe, the creator of Broadway Evolved who is a Tony Award Nominee for best actress, who has starred in Little Shop of Horrors, & Juliet, Death Becomes Her, Waitress, The Last Five Years and More!
