We're currently seeking a Head of Operations to join our shared leadership model and help support the day-to-day operations of the school alongside our new Head of Academics.

We're thrilled to announce that Ms. Katie Hunter has accepted the position of Head of Academics at Touchstone Academy.

For more than ten years, Katie has been an integral part of our school community. She is a gifted educator with a Master of Education whose passion for inquiry-based learning has helped shape Touchstone's curriculum and academic program.

Many families know Katie as the teacher behind the Orange Class, while others have seen her leadership through initiatives like the Curiosity Fair and the GeoBee. We're delighted that she'll continue inspiring our Orange Class students each day while also providing leadership for Touchstone's curriculum, teachers, and academic program.

Here's to an exciting new chapter for Ms. Katie and for the continued growth of the Touchstone community!

If you've been part of the Touchstone community over the past 26 years, chances are Ms. Angela was one of the very first people to welcome your family through our doors.

She has celebrated milestones with our students, supported generations of families, mentored teachers, and helped create the warm, caring community that makes Touchstone so special.

Today, we're excited to share that Ms. Angela is stepping into a new leadership role as the Director of Development and Alumni Relations. She’ll focus on strategic development, alumni relations, community partnerships, and fundraising—helping ensure that the school she has helped build continues to thrive for generations to come.

We're so grateful that Ms. Angela will continue to be an important part of the Touchstone family, and we look forward to this exciting next chapter together.

Our final field trip of the year brought students from JK–Grade 6 together at the Glen Carpenter Centre for a day of hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, games, and a whole-school lunch prepared by our amazing parent community.

For a school so connected to nature, it's the perfect way to celebrate the end of another wonderful year and launch into summer vacation.

"Ms. Kristi" taught our students the basics with patience, fun, and encouragement, then invited us to Hampton Golf Course so they could experience a real course.

We are so grateful for this wonderful opportunity. Now that's EXTRAORDINARY!
