🏈 Growing the Game in Rosthern!

On Wednesday afternoon, RJC was proud to host the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation's Grow the Game Football Camp, giving local youth the chance to learn the fundamentals of flag football, build confidence, and have fun on the field.

We were thrilled to welcome 40 young athletes from Rosthern and the surrounding area for a great afternoon of football and community!

A huge thank you to Coach Porter from the Roughrider Foundation, former Saskatchewan Roughriders Noah Zerr and RJC alum Coach Josh for coming out to coach and share their love of the game with our athletes. 🏈

We had a great afternoon on the field and loved getting the chance to Grow the Game in rural Saskatchewan!

Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank a cherished member of the RJC community, Louella Friesen.

For more than 35 years, Louella has shared her love of music with generations of students through private voice lessons. She has done so much more than teach technique. She encouraged students, believed in them, and helped them find the confidence to use their voices.

Whether preparing for a music festival, performing in our annual musicals, singing in choir, or simply discovering a love for music, Louella was there to cheer students on every step of the way. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine care have touched the lives of countless students, many of whom have carried those lessons with them long after leaving RJC.

Louella, thank you for the countless ways you have invested in our students and our school community. Your presence has been a gift, and your impact will be felt for years to come. Congratulations on a remarkable career. Thank you for all you’ve given to RJC, and we wish you all the best in your retirement!
