Reconciliation is rooted in the places where we live, learn, and build community. Local gatherings create opportunities to listen to Indigenous voices and deepen our understanding of the histories, cultures, and lived experiences connected to the lands around us.

Across the communities where CBAL offers programs, we live and learn on the traditional and unceded territories of the Ktunaxa, Lheidli T’enneh, Secwépemc, Sinixt, and Syilx Nations, and alongside Métis communities and citizens.

🧡 Every community has a story. 🧡

Looking for some air friendly activities? Check out Rossland Recreation!

We’re hoping for clearer skies this week, but as of right now, the air quality forecast isn’t looking too promising. So, here are a few fun indoor options!

💰 Just a toonie ($2) per event!

🚗 Indoor Play
Unstructured play in the Miners Hall for kids 6 and under. Ride-on cars, a bouncy castle, toys, and more!

🎨 Choice & Chill
Drop in to the Lily May Room and choose from 4 activity stations: crafting, reading, board games, and LEGO. Perfect for ages 5–12!

🛴 All Wheels Jam
Bring your wheels and come zip around the arena’s dry floor! Scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, roller skates, and wheelchairs are all welcome. A section will be blocked off for soccer as well 🛼♿️

Something for everyone - so come on out, get some energy out, and have some fun indoors! ❤️

$2 per event - drop in and join us!

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: If air quality improves, this schedule WILL CHANGE. We won’t have the staffing capacity to run the full indoor schedule if outdoor programming can resume.

We’ll keep you posted with any updates!

⚽ Mini Sports is happening tomorrow at Cook Field!

📅 Wednesdays
🕤 9:30 AM – 12:15 PM
📍 Cook Field

Come hang out and enjoy a relaxed morning of active play! We'll have sports equipment available including soccer balls, nets, and more for children to explore and use at their own pace.

This is an unfacilitated toddler and preschool play opportunity on the grass, giving families a chance to get outside, be active, and connect with others in the community.

No registration required- just drop in and play!
