The 2nd Annual Community Science Fair is officially back! Registration doesn’t open until early January 2027, but it’s never too early to start brainstorming your big ideas and fun experiments.

Who can enter ?
Open to all K-12 students in Rocky Mountain House and Clearwater Counting (including homeschool students)!

Bring your biggest questions, wildest hypotheses, and passion for discovery - let’s unlock the wonders of the universe together! 🔬✨

Students recognized National Truth and Reconciliation Day today. Part of our day included a beautiful school assembly hosted by grade 5 students Quinnlan and Everly. We also enjoyed musical performances from 5C, 5O, and 3/4M as directed by Mrs. Appleyard. As we finished the assembly, we held a moment of reflection.

Thank you to all the families that joined us today.

Gentle reminder: There is no school Wednesday, Sept 30. We resume school on Thursday, Oct 1.

🏃‍♂️💨 Laughter, Teamwork, and Big Energy in PE Class! 🏃‍♀️✨

There’s nothing quite like the sound of giggles and cheering echoing through the gym! Our students have been having an absolute blast in Physical Education class, staying active and building great friendships along the way.

From classic tug-of-war battles and sack race relays in the gym to outdoor field runs under the sunny blue sky, these photos capture what PE is all about: working together, encouraging one another, and finding joy in movement. Whether it's balancing dodgeballs or helping a teammate cross the finish line, our students show incredible sportsmanship every single day! 🏆🎽

A big shout-out to our dedicated physical education teachers for keeping active learning fun, creative, and inclusive for everyone.

🌱 Rooted in Community: Hands-On Learning in Our Peace Garden! 🌿

There is nothing quite like getting your hands dirty to build a deeper connection with the land we call home!

Earlier this week, Mrs. Smith’s Grade 2 class rolled up their sleeves and took learning outdoors. Together, these enthusiastic young gardeners helped plant indigenous saskatoon, raspberry, and rose bushes right in our school’s Peace Garden.

From shoveling rich soil to carefully watering each new seedling, our Grade 2 students worked as a true team. Learning about native flora gives our students a meaningful, hands-on understanding of local ecology and traditional land stewardship—helping these roots grow strong for generations to come. 🌾✨

A heartfelt thank you to parent volunteer Katie and also Crystal Clark from the Wild Rose School Division Indigenous Education Team for sharing your wisdom and guiding our students through this inspiring project. We also want to give a huge shout-out to Mrs. Smith for bringing this lesson to life for her students! 💙
