There’s something to this concept of storytelling. 🥰

I think stories allow the things that happen in our lives to make the most sense. I think, in the mix of emotion and memories, the best any of us can do is tell our own story, our own truth. It’s often simply in the telling of the story that healing happens.🙌 Telling stories is an ancient spiritual practice, a tool for communication and a way of passing on experiences through generations. I thought a lot about what it means to be the authour of our next chapters every single day that I was writing Feeling Seen.📚 In fact, I open this book with a piece of my story--a chapter I never knew existed for 33 years of my life. Sometimes, looking back over your story every now and then will allow you to more clearly create the rest of your story on purpose. Turns out, knowing where you've been can be crucial in helping to navigate where you're going. Due to the extreme cold that is forecasted to continue overnight, all WRSD buses are cancelled on Monday, February 8. Schools will be open for students who can safely get there and back home, however buses will not run for the entire day.
