A few weeks ago we had an awesome day at Arbeau Muay Thai.

My old coach, good friend, and mentor Sokhim “The Machine” Or made the trip from Calgary to Rocky Mountain House to hold pads for Pierre, Stephen Ling, and myself.

It’s not often I get to share one of the people who helped shape my own Muay Thai journey with my five-year-old son. Watching Pierre learn from someone who taught me years ago was a pretty special moment.

A big thank you as well to Stephen Ling. Stephen is the real estate agent who helped us buy our farm here in Clearwater County, and he truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process. I’m grateful to call him a friend and training partner.

Days like these remind me how important good mentors and good people are.

Thanks again, Sokhim. Hopefully we’ll get you back up in Rocky soon.
